In August of 2013, We were referred to Dawn McCraw, who is based in Tempe, AZ and runs a business called Go Clean Credit. http://www.gocleancredit.com/. We provided a payment of $3000 for her help in removing a negative report on our credit report. While not informing us, Dawn engaged with a separate company to do the actual work, Axsys, which is run by a a woman named Ela Kitchen. Dawn did not pass us off to Axsys, but maintained direct contact with us throughout the process. We never were diredtly contacted by Axsys. Axsys in turn contracted with another company, Technique Advisors, LLC.
While the agreement we signed noted Axsys in the heading, Go Clean Credit was the signer of the agreement, and was on the signature line. The agreement contained the promise of results or refund. Nothing was done for 3-4 months until I began pressing for answers. Then I was slow-walked until Axsys / Technique impersonated me with mail to the credit bureaus claiming I was the victim of identity theft, -without my knowledge. As you might imagine, this completly messed up my credit report and took some work to unravel. It was a stupid tactic as well as it wasn't going to accomplish the objective. Dawn, and an employee of Axsys, George Bosy, claimed they would take care of me and make things right, but this simply resulted in more slow-walking until I started protesting about the lack of action and progress. Then they stopped communicating. Obviously, no refund and more than a year of wasted time with these people.

I stand 100% behind the facts in my original post. Any person wishing to verify the facts in my post can email me at dberett@hotmai.com. I can provide the contract and emails which will prove what I am saying about Dawn McCraw and Go Clean Credit. This is a warning about doing business with them. The point and reason for my original post is simple. I paid $3000 for services that were never rendered, despite my attempts to work with Dawn McCraw and Go Clean Credit for over a year. When I began objecting to the non-performance, Dawn cut off communication and has refused to provide a refund.
In her rebuttal of my original post, Dawn McCraw of Go Clean Credit says:
"David Berett was never a client of Go Clean Credit and this review is not about Go Clean Credit". Fact: My contract shows Go Clean Credit on the signature line, and my check # 1134, which was dated 8/30/2013 for $3000 was written to Go Clean Credit. I dealt with Dawn McCraw the entire time.
"After consulting with Axsys David decided to proceed with the program and signed a contract with them" Fact: I never consuleted with Axsys, not did I ever speak or coorespond with anyone from this company. Dawn McCraw at Go Clean Credit did all that. I was unaware of them until my idenity was damaged, and at that point, Dawn threw them under the bus. Where did Axsys get my SS number and drivers license? From Dawn. She was the person I emailed them to. Not anyone at Axsys. I have the emails to proove this.
Etc., Etc. In addition to ripping me off, Dawn McCraw of Go Clean Credit has lied in print on this forum. Avoid Dawn NMcCraw and Go Clean Credit.

David Berett was never a client of Go Clean Credit and this review is not about Go Clean Credit. David is well aware that he signed a contract directly with another company (Axsys) that had a program for a very specific type of credit issue that Go Clean Credit does not work on. Several people with whom we had spoken with had great results for this other company in this specific type of credit issue, and as such we referred David over to them to discuss his case. After consulting with Axsys David decided to proceed with the program and signed a contract with them.
Axsys subsequently went out of business, but one of the employees of that company (George Bosy - not an owner in any way) who actually did the work for David's program started his own company (since he was the one actually doing the work anyway). He decided to continue to help David free of charge. George did not receive any payments from David, but helped because he did not feel right letting someone down. These types of cases are neither easy nor cheap to pursue yet George never asked David for a dime. Additionally, Go Clean Credit stayed in the communication loop with David and George because we felt some obligation since we had recommended David speak with Axsys. Just like George, we have never been nor are going to be compensated in any way for trying to help in the communication process (nor would we have expected it). This is just about trying to help people out as best we can in a situation that was neither the responsibility nor the obligation of Go Clean Credit, but just felt like the right thing to do. Obviously David never appreciated the fact that George was not obligated to help him and was not a very easy person to deal with.
I have all the proof documentation to back up exactly what I am saying here, but with Rip Off Report, you need to pay them $2000 just to look at it. Now that's a Rip Off. It's sad that someone can just post a slanderous review and get away with it.
Go Clean Credit is a very good company with high integrity and thousands of happy clients. We've been in business for over 10 years and are proud of our track record for helping our clients reach their goals. At the time we beileved Axsys to be a reputable company and had seen evidence of good results, but the decision to either enroll or not enroll with Axsys was up to David.
