I generally play the triple crown horse races at kentucky Derby, Preakness, and Belmont through OTB however, due to my relocation, we don't have OTB outlets in the state. I went online and looked for off track betting and came up with "GO HORSE BETTING" at www.gohorsebetting.ag/. I went online and visited the website and then did a search to validate it's legitimacy. I found a few articles but nothing in relationship to my reporting them here on Ripoff Reports!Upon dealing with GO HORSE BETTING, they request that you open an account, submit a credit card for financial purposes, send them validation items such as utility bills, drivers license etc which I thought was very legitimate. You then go to your account and do your race bets and when you have met certain requirements, withdraw winning from your account.........all sounds legit????

Ok, here's the catch.........they don't mention anything on their website that they are in Costa Rica nor do they provide phone numbers, banking institutions or any other information as to who and what they are all about! Upon making my withdrawl, I followed the proceedures to the "T" and received acknowledgement my withdrawl was valid and scheduled for reveiw and issuance. It took over 2 weeks for that to happen at which time I'm sent another email informing me that my withdrawl request was processed. Then, about a week later I get another email informing me a check was issued and sent USPS! 10 days later.......NO CHECK! I know the USPS is a pathetic excuse for anything but come on, I send overnight to CHINA!!

Needless to say, when you contact GO HORSE BETTING they will not provide you with any information other than they have reveiwed your request and a check was issued.......NO DETAILS and NOTHING about this on the website!!!

I'm giving them another couple of days since maybe one of the horses died swimming the channel howver, if I do not receive my check in the next couple od days I intend to report them to the US Attorney General and the FBI!!!

I hope others read this and make an informable choice in selecting their off track betting choice......I would NOT recommend GO HORSE BETTING!!!!

Why offshore gambling is a sucker bet.

" .........they don't mention anything on their website that they are in Costa Rica "

The ".ag" at the end of the domain name indicates that the domain is registered in Antigua and Barbadu.    When you're dealing with offshore sites, they could be located anywhere in the world.

Typically, offshore sites are located in countries with little or no regulation.  That means they know they don't have to pay you and there's not much you can do about it.   That's why I call them sucker bets.

" I intend to report them to the US Attorney General and the FBI!!  "

I would strongly suggest that you not do that.    Using a credit card to fund Internet gambling is a violation of federal law.    Can you imagine what would happen if you went to the USAG or FBI and complained that some offshore site (over which they have no jurisdiction) ripped you off while you were gambling illegally??

That is the most compelling reason that offshore sites can blow you off without a second thought.  Since you are breaking the law by gambling with them, they can rest assured that you won't be reporting them to anybody.    It would be like a drug dealer calling the cops because he got ripped off.   Never happens.
