Complaint Review: Go Tankless/ Pro Cool

We bought a tankless water heater for our home and paid Dave Emmitt to install it. Within a month we began having issues and contacted the plumber many times regarding these problems. He did come out a couple of times over the year, but was unable to correct the problem and actually made it worse. We contacted the company that made the boiler and after more attempts to 'help' this plumber find a solution, we eventually had to hire technicians that were actually familiar with this boiler system. 

The system had eventually just stopped working and we were left with no hot water or heat while everything was rebuilt. The original system looked NOTHING like the company manual and the new plumbers cited Dave's work as 'amateur at best'. We are not professionals, however the new system looks pretty much exactly like the manual, and more importantly.... it works. Unfortunately, we picked up the bill for BOTH heating systems. 

In the end, Dave said things such as, "sorry - I'm really frustrated and I don't know what to do", "I don't know how to fix it", "I have installed 5 of those systems and 4 of them have failed". Because he is still convinced that it was the system and not the install, we believe he may continue to gamble with people's hard earned money. He has no business installing tankless water heaters. Buyers beware.
