For anyone who has ever seen the movie 'Requiem for a Dream' and the Tappy Tibbons infomercials with their disturbing jump-cuts, cultish chanting and bizarre catchphrases...you have seen what the first two hours of a typical day at Go To Inc. is like. Standing in a circle in a 90 degree room with shock-rock radio blaring on a mistuned boombox, employees are psyched up by a slick, fast-talking executive-type who makes, in the words of one 'manager', 'retarded money.' He reads off the previous days' numbers and leads new hires in rounds of applause for the 'top sellers' who, if they aren't in on it, are being screwed worse than anyone else in the room. He even uses the phrase '[employee name]'s got the juice.'
