A note about godaddy backorders.
I was searching for a domain name similar to the one I already own and I found that godaddy is accepting money to place backorders for my own domain name. It isn't for sale and is 8 months away from the renewal date.
In my opinion, if you want to buy an already registered domain name, it might be a good idea to just contact the owner.
Check the date that the name expires. Automatic renewals are probably in the last month so you should save your money until at least then.
