The website MININOVA.ORG is blatently violating U.S. Copyright Law.

I am the author of a book that is copyrighted in my name. Someone has illegally done an ebook version of my book and it is being sold on MININOVA.ORG.

This clearly violates my rights under U.S. Copyright Law. This is theft!

MININOVA.ORG is connected with GoDaddy.com and DomainsByProxy.com.

Sue,

FYI, Mininova.org is not connected with Godaddy or domainsbyproxy as a company. The only connection here is that it looks like minimova.org was purchased at Godaddy. Godaddy is the registrar for literally millions of domains.

If you looked at a whois record to determine this, you will see domainsbyproxy, but ONLY because the owner of mininova has a private registration, which means the registrars info shows, not mininova's.

Also, the website for mininova is being hosted in the Netherlands on PRQinet's webspace. I suggest you send an email to prqinet's abuse department, as well as contact GoDaddy and tell them about the copyright violations, and GoDaddy will suspend the domain pretty quickly.

Please in the future do more research before you go accusing a company which clearly is not at fault here.
