goLaptopParts.com Computer World Assets Response to PayPal Dispute Highly Suggests Questionable Business Practices - Laredo, Texas
Following is the text from a dispute I initiated with PayPal when I decided I didn't want to wait and wonder for weeks if I'd receive an item I'd ordered from Computer World Assets a.k.a goLaptopParts.com. As you'll see, the dispute was closed the very same day.

I did a cursory investigation about your company before ordering, and was quite confident about your trustworthiness.
After placing my order, I didn't receive the email confirmation promised, nor have I received any response to an email I sent to you pointing that out. I called your cellphone number today (during business hours), and could not reach you.
I've since dug deeper into your company and have found a number of online reports from people describing these same issues, and stating that their orders weren't received for weeks, or longer. Many state that a tracking number was issued, but their orders didn't enter the shipper's system for weeks.
I've waited for two days since placing my order with still no reply to my email, or ability to reach you by phone. This dispute has been filed very early to put you on notice that I expect my order to be shipped in the next 5 business days. I want a tracking number that shows my order HAS ENTERED THE SHIPPER'S SYSTEM, and not just sitting in your warehouse, by July 19th.
Failure to send me a tracking number showing my order has actually been shipped will result in immediately escalating this dispute to a claim.

Hi, we replied to your email earlier today. We prefer to issue you a refund at this point.

No email from Computer World Assets or goLaptopParts.com was ever received (despite checking my email junk folder).
I've never known of a company that so quickly refunds a buyer's money. This, to me, confirms their questionable business practices.
It may be their practice to hold off on delivery until the window to dispute through PayPal has passed. I was unwilling to take that chance.
