The reason why I gave this company a contract is because it was listed as a BBB Accredited member, But after the contract was signed and the full payments were made, I went through few problems with this company.  after days of researching, I found out that this company was not a BBB member when I filed a complain against them. After I did my research, I also found out that they were previously operating under the names of IGK Group designs, Inc and Tricounty contracting.  I read all the reviews and noticed that there were previously several complaints agaigt them., I just wished I had known earlier.  The contract that I had assigned him consisted of 3 bathroom remoldeling (demolished and built from scratch with all materials and labor included, such as new vanity mirror, lights, medicine cabinet, new tiles half way throughtout the bathrooms, new tub,  tub door, toilet, exhaust fan, and have granite vanities with maple wood construction and faucets included), some minor fixings, replace all plumbing, remove popcorn from ceiling and then smooth it and paint, 15 recess lights, replace the porch with tiles,  and remove and replace with marble on the first floor.  After all the negotiation and the promises that he made me Mr. Greg Itzick Kohn, only wrote 50% of what I told him to do, moreover he wrote "standard" installation on everything, and also wrote "repair"  instead of "replacement".  When I filed a complaint against him with BBB, he was very upset and told me that "If I don't withraw my case, he will not proceed further with the project, he even threatened me to back off or suffer the consequences.  When he started on the first bathroom, he told me that he was'nt able to get the tiles for the walls, so I've to arrange it for him and later he will credit me.  Now he still owes me $667.50 as a credit.  So far he has only completed 80% of the first bathroom, and demolished my master bathroom completely.  He told me that he will install a standard tub, much small than the one he demolished, so therfore I told him because he owes me money, why not I choose the tub and he arranges it.  Again he told me, that it is my responsibility to arrange the tub, because he has no money and no company credit card.  So what happened to all the payments that I made in full???  He is a liar, he would do anything to get your money, his secretary (laurie) is so ignorant & manager (Rolando) all professioanl crooks and  they want you to follow-up with them emailing / calling their entire crew what to do. Now they have left me with a master bathroom completely torn apart, demanding more money and materials.  I hired this contractor from Servicemagic.com and spoke with them earlier and explained to them what happenned, and one of their contractor relations department told me that they just spoke to the owner of the company and his name is "Salvatore Mirabella"., but I don't know who that person is, but I certainly do know that the number she called is the same number I call to reach the companies owner.  Something very fishy is going on here with this company.  I just want to have this person punished to the full extent of the law.  I also gave him a low rating at servicemagic.com and the owner requested me to honor him with better ratings so he can get more contracts (victims) and he will take care of my contract ASAP.

I'm having the exact same experience with Itzick and his company.  I'm about at my wit's end and am wondering how you were able to resolve your situation such that you would write an update saying everything is now fine?  Did they finish the work?  Did they refund your money?  I paid my first deposit March 17th 2011, and as of today (8-30-11) all they've done is demolish my bathroom and put-up some sheet rock.  I also got this contractor by using Service Magic, and that will be the last time I use that referal service for work!  I'm out $19,000 thus far.

Today, once again injustice has been served to the innocent people.  There is no value for honesty out there. If someone thinks that they are the best, and can get away by cheating an innocent person then they are mistaken because winning something un-intentionally is the same as losing.  I always keep a positive attitude and believe that "what goes around always comes around"  Its really a shame that there is no justice out there for honest people
