Gold's gym, ABC Financial, and Internal Credit System, Inc of5504 Durham Chapel hill Blvd., suite 200, Durham,NC 27707.

This multiple chain has been able to un-acknowledge the US mail, certified mail, as well as telephone service for documentation of information to cease a contract according to their contract and their long arm to hold your banking account open to their robbing but, holding you hostage by your credit standing, ripping you off, and scamming you, because they have created a method to get away with it.

My first daughter wanted to join Gold's gym but did not want to go alone so I went and the gym signed us up to my banking account. A few weeks later, she wanted to stop. Having a plan, my other daughter was home from college and using the "free" card the gym mailed to me. I talked to a personal at the gym to see if my second daughter could take over my first daughter's membership. He said, " of course" when my second daughter went to take over the membership, they gave her a card to check in to the gym and told her it would take several days for it to transfer into the other daughters account. second daughters account never transferred to first daughters account. Then, we received many bills and request for billing information, even-though the communication came always as "account closed."

Then, June 13, 2010, I was involved in a serious car accident. after many phone calls and letters concerning such including and no limiting to, Doctors letters to cease my membership, by way of regular mail and certified mail, to no avail.

Then second daughter return to college, again I went through the process to stop the membership when in fact, she did not even have an account????, to no avail. Funny thing, so far, my first daughter with my banking account I have not heard anything as of yet. What set me off with this, she did not open an account , she was to take over her sisters. When she returned to school she did not have transportation to even get to a gym. through many regular mail, phone calls ( note, you can not get anywhere if you call them, only when they call you for money) and certified mail, to submit the letter from the college. First one sent was not good enough because it did not show how much money I was contributing to her education, they wanted that as well.

So after months of trying to cancel the memberships through ABC Financial, according to their rules, still can not get them off my back. Now, their next step is to sent the information to Internal Credit System, whom I called again to try to find out what is going on, that man will not talk to you, just gets rude, but they have caller ID, so now he wants to talk when he can get his money!!!! or he is filing a judgment against me. ( one day after I called because I received a letter asking for A year of membership for two accounts, if you remember, one was never opened)

Boycott Gold's Gym, go to another gym, but check them out to see if their word is true>

Dear Gold's Gym Member,

We wish to address thecomplaint youposted regarding your daughter's membership agreement with Gold's Gym.ABC Financial Services, Inc. is a third party billing Services Company acting strictly as such for Gold's Gym.

Without specific information regarding your daughter's membership I am unable to respond as such; however, if aa contractual agreement was signed for an allotted number of months, you are bound to that for the term of the agreement unless the health club offers special provisions for early cancellation (i.e. moving, medical reasons). These would require sufficient proof to be executed. If sufficient proof is not received, you remain resposible for your monthly dues until such proof has been obtained.
