 We tried to cancel membership by phone, but were told they needed written notification. Also told it would be a good idea to send this certified, as it might be "lost" otherwise. We did this and I got a return receipt. Now received a letter stating the account has been placed into pending cancellation status and they want an additional fee. Our account was just charged again. My husband was a member of this gym for many years., but I will be telling the world how they do business. Total ripoff artists.
