Well How do I Start. I WAS RIPPED OFF. I seen there adds around town in Bay St Louis,MS Telling everyone "We pay the most on the coast" NO that is the biggest lie ever. I thought ok I need money for my kids X-mes and I had a few rings I thought why not. So I walked into the flee market with a little hole in the wall gold shop it was more like a 5ftx5ft office. I sat down with the lady very nice lady and told what i needed to do. she took my rings and cut into them to test them. CUT into them. she then put something on them and told me a price. Well she starts telling me gold prices are going down and now is the time to sell and that she pays the most on the coast. So I fell for it. I asked her how things are done to get the price she told me. It was 14.2grams I was payed $75.00 by check and the check was not good. So I ent back and she told me she wrote it out of and different account. So she wrote me a new one. Well Two weeks later I ran into a man that owns a shop in town that deals with gold and silver. I asked him about my deal with this shop he asked me what the grams were and how much they paid me I told him $75.00 he showed me what I should of made if they payed the most on the coast. They payed me $11.00 a gram. So I stopped by the pawn shop in town and asked them what they would of payed and it was more then $11.00 a gram. There are a few gold shops in town go to everyone of them and get the best price people. Stay far from them.

I don't believe this is true because first of all we do not deal in grams. We deal in pennyweights. Secondly we do file(not "cut") into some pieces of jewelry only after the price of the jewelry is reached and agreed to. I do not believe the fact the the person was paid $75.00 for 14.2 grams of gold. We always tell the customers what karat the gold is so why does the person writing this report not say if the jewelry is 10kt,14kt etc..If we at Gold Salvage Group told you a price then we also separated the jewelry and told you what karat it was. So these are also reasons It's hard for me to believe the report is true. Another fact I would like to mention is that if you go to our competitors and ask them about our prices, do you truly believe they are going to tell you, we pay more than them? Of course not! The bottom line is that we really DO pay more than anyone on the coast. We do not try tactics to get the gold cheap like other companies. To the person who wrote this "report" please contact gold salvage group and ask to speak with the owner. I personally will talk to you and find your paper work(if this is a true case) and go over the transaction personally! If it shows you really were paid $75.00 for 14.2 grams of gold. I personally will pay you 100% of the value of the gold based on that days current market value. Bottom line is that we have many competitors in the market and they try any tactics they can to tarnish our name. I the owner grew this company from one store a year ago to four stores today. That's mainly because of word of mouth advertising. This is a family owned and operated business and do everything we can to make sure our customers are happy.

So if this is not a bogus report please feel free to call gold salvage group and prove this really happened. All receipts have the check number that was paid so I can take care of any issue.
