Complaint Review: Gold Standard Lottery

Received a letter stating I'd won $56,350.00 USD for answering surveys on the Internet. Enclosed was an authentic looking check for $2,550.00, drawn on a legitimate California bank, to cover "clearing fees" that would be needed to receive the remaining $53,800.00.

I'd then need to contact "claims agent Bianca Paris" @ (450) 675-7123 and give her the reference code from my letter. She'd then guide me through the rest of the claims process and let me know when I should expect my final certified check. Smells like a scam to me and I will be contacting the bank that the check is drawn on to see if it's legit. I'm sure it is not.
