My husband and I were looking for help with the situation we found ourselves in after a series of hospital visits, doctor visits and surgeries for my son and myself when we came across this company on the internet. Being that Oprah was supposedly a supporter of them, I felt like it was worth the shot at getting us a chance to start fresh with only $99 sacrificed.

The search took a full week, which I was afraid about because of my 30-day link availability. I opened them up to find that they were all companies that we had attempted to get help from already. I e-mailed them and got a hateful response about it being my problem that they already refused us and that they had done their job. So, I went forth with the applications, knowing that if I could get all my denials then they would refund my money. ALTHOUGH, it would be even more detramental to our credit score.

I called the toll free number in the hope that someone might be of help with the concerns I had, but the man told me that they were only paid to answer the line and refer us back to the site and e-mail we would have received. In tears and frustration I explained that this was a serious matter that I was looking for a miracle, so to speak, and that my son's medicines and doctor visits were eating us alive. He was extrememly considerate of my obvious upset and told me not to worry, that they were really good about honoring the refund policy.

I then went ahead and e-mailed them with these concerns only to receive a rather lengthy reply stating that I was terrible to mention that my son is ill and to use that as sympathy for a situation that I caused my family. I am no different than anyone else and have to follow the rules that are stated.

By NO means was I attempting to get by their policy, but I felt it unnecessary to re-apply with companies that had only recently denied us help. They have been nothing but unsympathetic about my pleas, and the refund policy that the gentleman on the phone told me was not so strict has been all but a joke! They are getting away with theft! They use good people's names and promise that they can help, no matter what your situation, but do nothing of the sort!

We don't have a lot of money, we are just average people, living our lives the best that we can. We just wanted to be refunded what was due to us after they were unable to follow through on their promise.
If you find yourself successful in gathering a force to go up against them, I would love to know about it so that we can be involved.

By the way, when I realized that their link had been deleated from my saved e-mails and I asked them to send me the address for the refund, I got an e-mail saying "Refer to your search results e-mail." plain and simple! There was NO help coming from them!!

How sad that people out there are able to get away with taking advantage of people who are looking for a little help.
