Early February 2010, I responded to a job ad for a "mailing assistant"  Here is the job description:

At present we have a very interesting employment proposal for anyone with few hours of spare time a day. You do not need to have any especial education or experience, you just need to have the ability to spend some time for our company and thats it. You will become a part of our company, serving our needs in the local market. All you need to do is accept small and big packages, documents, parcels and some other small
items at your home address, and process such receptions to our local store in accordance to the customer location. Thats it, very easy, right? You will be paid every week to your PayPal account. You will receive any further instructions and details during the working process.

The following are some of the more significant benefits and terms and conditions of your employment.

REQUIRED SKILLS
1. Rapid and accurate data entry skills;
2. High School graduate or equivalent certification;
3. Effective verbal and written communication skills;
4. Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000 applications. MS Word and Excel and Outlook;
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.

Besides the weird English, it doesn't look too bad, right?  I also would be paid $36 per package shipped.  I got my first batch of packages this week.  Ipod to be sent to Russia.  That got me worried so I did a little research and found this article:  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3730401/.  So the job is for an organized crime ring to move merchandise purchased by stolen credit cards overseas.  I filed a police and FBI report.  Watch out for these ads!  Don't let unemployment panic cloud your judgment.
