GoldRocks Golden Retrievers - Kimberly Schulz Terrible breeder, horrible neighbor, refuses to honor contract AND court rulings Fenton Michigan
GoldRocks Golden Retrievers claims to be a "service dog organization", but will sell a dog to anybody with cash (don't write her a check she wants no proof that there was a sale). Buyer beware! You will not get promised papers - she has been suspended by the AKC so there ARE no papers, except from a scammy little "registry" called APRI. Worthless. If you get a puppy that turns out to have hip dysplasia like so many others have, you will not be able to contact her, and she will never return your calls, letters, or emails. You will have to take her to court, and she won't show up. You'll win by default, but never see a dime. Check out how many lawsuits have been filed against her in Livingston County - that she's LOST. None of those people have ever seen their court reward. Her township got a consent agreement against her, and she didn't comply. Google "Kimberly Schulz, Tyrone Township". It's been in all the papers. She lost her zoning board appeal. She is trying to claim exemption because she sells "service dogs". She never provides proof. She breeds over a hundred puppies a year. The neighbors complain about the noise, and the smell, and loose dogs, and people yelling and screaming at them all the time. Past puppy buyers complain about dogs that they spent more than $1000 to buy, and had to put 3 x that into fixing them when they got hip dysplasia. And Schulz turns invisible when they try to contact her about it.
Fraud. Scam. Dishonest. Township should shut her down.

I am one of many who are now owed money by Kimberly Schulz, and as the court has said, "Get in line and don't hold your breath". The woman has no regard for the law, and continues to perpetuate her fraud. Her home has several attorney and company liens on it, according to public record, and she herself stated in court that it is in foreclosure. I suppose this means that she will have to breed even more puppies for money. The cycle never stops. More puppies from GoldRocks means more dogs crippled with hip dyslpasia, and more people who will have to resort to lawsuits to get her to stand by her guarantee, and more court ordered payments that she will not ever make.
Buyer Beware just doesn't seem to be enough, in this case.
