I have tried several times to cancel my personal trainer account. I did exactly what the contract says. I mailed in my certified letter 3 TIMES! They conveniently never recieved it. I have been emailed back and forth for over a month trying to get this cancelled. My information was sent to the cancellations department finally. They sent me and web form and wanted me to fill it out. Of course by filling out this web form I would not be within the proper terms to cancel the agreement. So.... I decided to call Kelli the lady that I had been emailing back and forth with. She informed me that when I filled out the web agreement to cancel that I had to allow a 30 day notice. There was no indication that I had to give a 30 notice anywhere on the form, and that I also owed 610.00 for cancellation fees! By this time a am fed slap up! I dont even want my gym membership anymore. So I tried to cancel that as well. I get told that I can't. This was NEVER DISCLOSED TO ME!!! I have to move 25 miles away from the gym, or I have to have a medical condition where I can not physically come to the gym. I cant cancel my membership because they are crooks! All this would have been settled if they would have just released me from my contract that I tried to terminate the correct way, but they refuse to admit that they got the letter and they failed to process the termination.

NEVER JOIN GOLDS GYM!
