I purchased tickets from Goldstar on Mar 28, 2015 for a total of $120.50 on my credit card.  Due to a change in plans, these tickets were refunded and Goldstar gave me credit to be used on future purchases.  At that time I had $120.50 in Goldstar credit.

On, July 31, 2015, I used a portion of that credit to purchase two tickets to California's Great America on the Goldstar website.  Two tickets with fees came out to be $72.00.  Goldstar said that these tickets are valid through Oct 25, 2015 and that they would notify me before the expiration to use the tickets.  However, I never got any notification from them and so on Oct 28, 2015, I realized that they still had my money stored on this ticket.  I contacted them to ask for a refund or to get store credit back for this purchase.  They definitely have the ability to offer a refund or credit as demonstrated in the previous case.  Even after Oct 25, they continued to offer California's Great America tickets, so I even asked for my credit to be used for those tickets which worked after Oct 25.  However, they refused to give me a refund or credit.  I tried repeatedly to contact their customer service but they rejected my request for a refund with little to no explanation.

It was at that time that I realized that this was not right and I asked for a full refund on my original $120.50.  They have repeatedly refused and I feel as if they have cheated me of my money.  They have claimed that my money is somehow gone even though I have not received a single dollar of value from my purchase.  Goldstar has adopted the model of selling tickets without notifying their clients of expiration and then disavowing accountability as soon as the customer requests a refund.  They simply do not understand good customer service and are only interested in making a quick buck.  Goldstar operates a business model that is not unlike Gift Cards when they first started getting popular.  Buy a gift card, but if you don't use it, it will eventually expire.  Customers would then forget to use the card and the store would have kept the money without having spent their resources to provide goods or services in return.  This practice was outlawed under federal law.  Goldstar needs to start operating with the interest of customers in mind or they will lose money and garner a poor reputation.

I just want my money back.  Thank you so much for your time.
