I contract for a litigation support firm. Goldstein Lapayowker LLP, specifically Mark B. Goldstein and his deadbeat assistant Angela, requested services through my provider via telephone orders.

I did the work they requested and they were invoiced them for my services.

After months of benefiting from my services they decide that they want to pay. Now I can't get paid from my organization.

If anyone has any dealings with Goldstein Lapayowker LLP based out of Boca Raton, Florida, get your fees up front! Do not make the same mistake I did and let them take you for a good chunk of change.

Before anyone recommends it, Yes, collections and suing them is an option that we are pursuing. This post is to make others aware of the poor business practices that they decided to follow and maybe prevent someone else from being burned.

Slanderous Report

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, April 22, 2008

This report is slanderous and patently false. The vendor, which is an out of state process server, who posted this message was paid in full for its services and then attempted to make additional demands for work that was never undertaken, performed or completed. We ultimately had to retain another entity to undertake the service of process and to bear an additional fee to replace the deficient services provided by the reporter. Lastly, the reporter lied to our office on numerous occassions to hide its failure to provide the services for which it was contracted and paid in FULL.
