GoLow Bids ,Go Low Bids ,Golowbids.co.uk Golowbids.com.au Go Low Bids lied about item availability, took my money, but never sent the item! U.S., U.K., And Australia Internet
I was a paying member of GoLowBids.com for 3 months, starting in September 2008. Before giving them any money, I looked online for any bad reviews of their company. I assumed that because I couldn't find anything wrong (and because they took payment through PayPal) that they were a legitimate business. Boy was I wrong.
At the beginning of November 2008 I won an auction, sent them my payment through PayPal, and sent them my picture and testimonial (as required). After a month, I hadn't received any info on the shipping of my item, so I started asking about it.
I opened a trouble ticket, and was told that the item would be on its way soon. After Christmas, I opened another ticket, and they responded by apologizing and telling me that I'd get it by January 7th. I opened another ticket after I didn't receive it as promised, they apologized, blamed it on their distributor, and said I'd have it within 3 weeks. I opened another ticket in February, one on March 4th, and another a couple days ago. They have stopped responding to all my inquiries. I just looked at their website, and they have had 3 more auctions for the exact same item I bought (even though they couldn't deliver mine!)
At this point, it is pretty clear that I won't be getting my money back or the item I paid for. I am putting this complaint up so that no one else gets taken in by this company, which also operates in the US, the UK, and Australia. GoLowBids.com is a fraud! They will take your money and run!
If you'd like to verify my story, go to http://www.golowbids.com/winners.php to look at their list of past winners. I won a Logitech Harmony 550 on 11/2/08 and paid for it soon there after. I haven't received it, and they've been ignoring my requests for information for over a month now. I'd be really surprised if anyone on their list of "winners" ever received their items.

Hi, they did the same thing to me. I'm sorry they ripped you off too, but I have to say I feel so much better knowing I'm not the only one. Did you report them to PayPal? I managed to get a partial refund because they had double billed me after I upgraded.
I also reported them to FTC you should do that as well. They last few times I have checked the site they have had no auctions but they still have some in the UK. Guaranteed they are still charging those people though. I haven't heard anything from them in over a month it's so frustrating! I saved all my correspondence from them I suggest you save yours if you haven't already, before they disappear off the web.
I'll keep updating my report and I bet a lot more people will start filing their own reports. Good Luck!
