Complaint Review: Gonzalez and Son Movers

 This company is completely unprofessional and disorganized. They did not show up to perform a service after receiving written confirmation and quote. Very unprofessional and not very reliable moving company. You have to call them several times before they return your call. Once I got a hold of them I scheduled and appointment for a quote and they did not show up or called the day of the appointment to cancel the appointment. I had to call them and they stated they got stuck in traffic. I had to schedule another appointment for the following day, for which they showed to two hours late.

The mistake I made was in hiring them. I hired them to do the move and scheduled the move for a Friday at 9 am. At 11:30 am the day of the move they had not showed up or called. When I called the son's (Luis) tel # he stated it was his father's move not his and to call his father. When I called the father he stated he got tied up at another move. Really? My move was scheduled for 9 am. Never mind the fact that he didn't even call to say he was running late. My husband arranged to take the morning off from work to be there for the move and at 11:30 am still no show. We called the owner/father (Ramon) and he said they were on their way since 10:00 am. When contacted again the owner gave me the movers # and when I contacted the movers at 11AM they said they were having breakfast. At 11:30 am when we called the owner again he would not answer the telephone.

Beware with this moving company, do not contact them. Don't know how they have managed to be in business so long. Maybe because the price is is so low but sometimes is not worth saving money and having to deal with such an unreliable and unprofessional company. You get what you pay for.
