As I understand good news ministries is not an emergency shelter, ( it doesn't deserve to be capitalized). I was desperate for a place to stay, as me and my family had fallen on hard times and were walking the streets of Indianapolis. I put an application in via the internet, and imagine my excitement when a gentleman by the name of Max Day returned my call to talk about my situation and set up an appointment. Fast forward. We went to the appointment, my husband and I, answered all his questions, impressed him I guess, and he proceeded to tell us we were accepted into the program. He showed us around the grounds, showed us an apartment, but told us it would be a couple of weeks before we could move in because they had to get an space big enough for us, our family is pretty big. So I waited for two weeks, which at that time we were living in a hotel that we had paid for for two weeks, all we could afford, and when the time ran out I began calling good news. Max was never in .And the people that work there are rude and uncaring, I guess they told him I was badgering them by calling so much so he basically yelled and screamed at me and my husband and told us we were never accepted into the program, And we weren't getting in the program. So we continued to walk the streets until we found shelters that would accept all of us then we moved out of Indianapolis. So God like this Ministry though, yeah right.
