My daughter and her 2 (girl) friends decided to go to San Diego for 3 days. I went on the interent at motel.com and booked a decent priced room at Good Nites Inn for 3 days.

On the confirmation letter from motel.com I also called the motel (Good Nites Inn) to comfirm. I told them that they would arrive late and they assured us that since the room was already paid for by credit card that it didn't matter what time they arrived.

On arrival ~10pm, they proceeded to check in, my daughter signed the check in paper but the desk clerk Neal wanted to charge them extra money for 2 beds. Since I thought I booked 2 beds she told him that she needed to go to the car and look for the confirmation paper.

When she returned he told them that the room was resold. And that he would not refund their money. Resold in 5 minutes. Yeah right, this room was garenteed with the credit card, sold by motel.com.

So at midnight the 3 young girls were out late in San Diego trying to find another room.
