I parched a Good Sam's Club extended warranty on my 2003 Ford F350 in April 2011. The only thing I use this truck is to pull my 35 ft. 5th wheel. In December 2011 I started to have problems and I got a service authorization and took it into the service center. I was told the High pressure oil cooler was plugged and the EGR cooler was leaking. Good Sam refused
coverage because Coolers are not covered and the EGR cooler is part of the emissions and there also not covered. This cost me $3400.

When I got the truck back, It had problems starting so I took it back in and was told 3 fule injectors were failing. I called Good Sam back again and they told me to take it back into the same service center. Good Sam had someone check out the problem and they sad because I had an after market exhaust and an after market fuel pressure regulator, they would not cover the injectors. Does the exhaust and fuel pressure regulator impact the injectors. The exhaust does not hurt the injectors. The fuel pressure regulator was installed to protect the injectors from fuel pressure spikes. Good Sam's Club extended warranty is a Scam

I have been around for a while now and know that most warranty companies don't cover "after market or custom parts". If you want to modify your vehicle or any other mechanical item, you void the warranty. You lack common sense and typing skills.
