I brought my car at Good Yr Tires on april 2008 for an oil change. The man at the register have given many options of services as usual but I decided to have the oil change done as plan. My wife and I left the auto shop on foot to see the nearby shopping mall . As we were walking, I saw a mechanic already working on my car. The man saw us as we passed by. While walking, I immediately had a call from Good Year tellling me that I need new brakes for the rear wheels and some other things. I said just the oil change. Because I usually bring my car to the dealer when ever there is a problem with the car.
The next day when Im packing my things to go to sacramento, I noticed my psp (sony vedeo game) was missing from the car. I thought my son was playing with it but when I asked him, he did not have any recollection seeing the psp. Then I realized for the Good Year employee to dismount the tires, he needed a lug nuts key for which he never ask from the start. The psp was at the back of the car where the jack and the spare tire are usually found. Perhaps he was looking for the lug nuts key but instead found more valuable things. Now, I wonder if they have a video camera in the shop. I think every one knows these that for every service the mechanic does there is a labor fee. Thats how they make money! The way I saw it , whoever worked on my car that day was determined to get his extra wages legally or illegally!
