GoodGuide UL Information & Insights, a business unit of UL (Underwriters Laboratories). False reporting of best rated products. Internet
GoodGuide.com represents themself as a third party, unbiased party who rates home products based on the safety of their ingredients.
I was looking for a laundry detergent that did not contain unsafe ingredients. They listed 33 products with a top health rating of 10. Found all 33 reports are bogus. They either left out dangerous ingredients from the list of ingredients, or they market the dangerous ingredients with a gray check mart that says, "Safe Use Exception", when the same chemical was market dangerous on other laundry detergents that had a lower rating.
It appears that they are falsifying their rating to drive the puplic to certain products that they claim are safe that are not safe.
