*Franchise fee is way to high - if I knew then what I knew now I would never have paid it. *Support is non existent. *Told me what I wanted to hear to buy in. *Backoffice looks awesome before joining - spoiler alert - it sucks after joining. *Sold by a professional sales person that has no knowledge of insurance only on how to sell a franchise. *Trying to charge policy fees in a state where agents don't normally do it is hard, you're not competitive. *they keep way too much of your commissions *you have to pay for everything. *they don't tell you about bonuses and overrides their making on your hard work. *I own a new agency of similar size to my goosehead book and am making much more. *Oh, and my clients all have 24 hour customer service with all but one of our carriers. Save yourself a ton of money and look at an aggregator or other option to get your agency started. It's only six weeks until Goosehead drops another agent right on top of you anyway.
