Gore Research Radio silence after failing to refund postal costs caused by Gore sending the wrong item. ripoff Logan West Virginia
I bought a ProScan OBD-II Scan Tool & Dyno Scanner w/ CAN Support in June/July of 2006 and when it arrived I couldn't get it to interface with my European Alfa 156.
Repeated emails throughout August, asking for assistance were greeted by apologies for the silence, then more silence. Eventually, I worked out that they had sent the basic scanner by mistake, despite me having ordered the model supporting all formats and them having charged me for the version with CAN support!
I was then told, by email, that I would need to post the item sent back to Gore Research before they would send me the correct unit and that they would refund my postage costs for posting from the Netherlands.
I did as instructed and finally received the correct unit, as should have been sent in the first place, but any and all contacts since then have either been met with promises to look into the reason as to why I still have not been refunded, or during the last couple of months my emails habve been completely ignored.
There is still no sign of the refund and to be quite honest, I just have to face the fact that I was conned.
