Complaint Review: Gore Research

Gore Research returned my scantool and $50 dollars june 4th 2006 and have received nothing but the run around and email lies. ripoff Logan West Virginia

I ordered the scan tool which didn't work on my chevy 1996 vehicle. I was notified by Gore Research to return unit with $50 dollars check june 4th,2006. As of today Nov. 7th, 2006. I have 9 email and the run around about my order, and no scan tool.

My name is David Gore, and I just now became aware of the issues you encountered with your order.

I personally pulled up all correspondence you had with Jay and Amber over the past few months. Apparently, when your initial order was returned by you with a $50 check for an upgrade, the upgrade order was not placed into our system and was overlooked.

Since there was no record of the $50 check and return having been received, it led to confusion with our support team when you contacted them. Especially since you had a recent initial order that had been processed and shipped properly.

You sent a written letter to us a couple weeks ago and we were able to confirm that you did in fact have an unfulfilled order with us. Amber processed your order and put it in the mail immediately afterwards. The tracking number indicates that your kit was successfully delivered.

In June, we upgraded to a new Order Management system, and just last week we implemented same-day drop-shipments out of Arizona. So rest assured that we have taken many steps towards improving our order-fulfillment processes. Also, our customer service department is currently being reworked as we want to guarantee our customers a helpful and friendly response within 24 hours.

I sincerely apologize for this mixup, and I'm glad that you finally received your merchandise. Since it took so long for you to receive this item, I completely understand if you wish to return it for a refund.

Again, I apologize and I hope that you are satisfied with the outcome. If not, please return it for a full refund. I can even refund your return shipping costs.
