Complaint Review: GORENTER.COM - HOME AMERICA - MARK BOSWORTH ASSCOIATES

Gorenter managed a rental property for us in Peoria. The renter stayed 3 months but we were paid for only 2 full minthe and a partial 3rd month. After they defaulted and moved out we were told that they hadn't paid the security deposit. When we went to the house the appliances were missing (stove and refridgerator). Photos that the management company showed us showed the stove in the garage. We changed the locks on the house after we found out that the renter moved out and informed the management company but a week later they went in and rekeyed the new locks.

About three weeks later they removed the lock box from the house but when I was there a few days later I found a key hidden at the property. I think someone may have been waiting for us to replace the appliances. Subsequently I have found out that they have a large court judgement against them for among other things stealing appliances from rental properties. They also have at least 19 complaints with the Arizona Real Estate Board per articles from "Phoenix Newtimes".
