Gotech Financial Ripoff credit card company--scam--BEWARE!!! Houston Texas
I got a call from a sales rep. stating that I had been approved for a VISA or Matercard (my choice) with a credit line of $5,000. I was very excited due to past credit problems that I have had. They said that they were going to need a one-time processing fee/mailing fee of $219.90 and they would do a one-time draft from my bank account. During the recording I kept asking questions to make sure this wasn't a scam. Everything sounded okay and accurate.
I kept asking the sales rep. for the phone number and he kept saying that it would tell me at the end of the recording. The first time that the phone number came on, there was a beep and I couldn't get the whole number. Then the second time, I actually got the number and heard the guy grumble like "uh-oh." I tried calling the number this morning and typing the sales rep's first name into the directory. The directory states that there is nobody there by that name.
BEWARE!!! It may sound good, but you will loose $220 by doing this!!!!
