Complaint Review: GoTech Financial

GoTech Financial said I could call customer service if needed to cancel was told by customer service that I could'nt cancel only extend payment St George Utah

GoTech contacted me by phone and offered me a credit card to help rebuild my credit. They also offered me a deal on long distance with PROTEL. I called GoTech customer service 3 days after I signed up to cancel and was told that I couldn't cancel I could only extend out my payment of $219 for three months. I had asked the person I spoke to to set up this deal "what if I want to cancel" and he told me to call customer service and they could help me. He never told me that there policy was to not allow cancellations.

In regards to the long distance company PROTEL, I misunderstood what the recording I was listening to meant (I was being prompted on what to say and admit I didn't listen very well).

I found GoTech to be very misleading and what sounded like such a good offer turned out to be a nightmare. I cannot afford the $59.90 PROTEL took out of my checking account and I certainly cannot afford the $219 that I am stuck paying.
