I recently ordered a cook book from this company thru a link off another site. When I placed the order, there were some additional offers for $1 each. I took advantage of some of them. I expected the total order to be around $20.

When I received the package, there was no invoice, just a shipping notice. I never received any kind of bill or anything giving me any other dollar amount.

Last month, they billed my credit card $36.99. This month, they billed me for $39.99. When I finally was able to reach someone in the company, I was told that I had authorized the total bill of (around--I can't remember the exact amount right now) $156. If I want to return the items, they will refund the last payment of $39.99. I asked them to send me a copy of my order, and was told that they couldn't do that.

What reputable company does not send an invoice with their merchandise? And why can't they send me a copy of my original order?
