I wanted to leave this report to Warn you about the Scam Gourmet For Life is running.

I initially bought a deal that sounded too good to be true, and it was. www.catchfred.com had a deal with them were you could get: Breakfast,Lunch & Dinner plus two snacks for 29.95 for three days.
Limit 3 per customer unlimited as gifts.


I went ahead and bought this deal and called and spoke to Meg Giffen who honored the promo. Since it was the holidays, a relative called Gourmet For Life and asked how they could apply the gifts (groupons) for me and if their was a limit. The answer Patricia (Receptionist) gave was "No, Gifts are Unlimited. Tell her to call us and we will honer them for her. Wait one moment she asked, Meg are gifts Unlimited?, Verified. "Gifts are unlimited, buy as many as you want."  Patricia said.  
After I received the coupon codes from my relative, I called Meg Giffen and she applied them to my account.

My first day on this plan was all messed up, these people are oblivious to instructions as it comes to addresses, gate codes and food allergies as my first day I received food I was allergic too and the driver could not get into my complex. I called to complain about the food I received, and was told I would get a days credit to use towards meals.  A few days later I received an email from I guess the only person that works their stating that "My coupons would not be honored, and this would be my last day of meal delivery. Why? The owner decided not to honor them, because I got a deal and didn't get ripped off with the regular overpriced rate they have. It's called being a smart shopper.

It has really left a bad taste in my mouth that despite no restrictions being posted on the site, rules changing from one day to another because Gourmet for life business is rand like a circus, they have not even apologized to me or offered me an alternative solution. It's just an Oh, I don't feel like giving you the deal; Goodbye. Is that how business is done? It's not my fault you have incompetent employees who don't know what they are doing, and are liars, and that the owner doesn't  know the meaning of customer service.  After this happened I went to www.bbb.com looked up the company, and surprisingly the business was given an overall F rating. Shocker? Nope. Chance after chance was given and I even tried filing a complaint with the BBB and did they respond? Nope. 

All in all, I would stay away from this business. No need to go through the hassle. There are better and more economical companies out there, that actually know the meaning of customer service and great food.

How funny is it that an employee of the company responds and tries to act like a customer... Nice try.

Cheat the system, No. Clearly when a call is made for clarfication and you get an OK you assume everything is good to go. The company not responding is a bad sign of customer service, and multiple attempts were given.  Don't waste your time is all I can say.

It looks like you're just trying to cheat the system when they clearly say limit 3 per customer, it's even on this image you have here!

I tried them, also, with a 3 day coupon. Everything was fine, from customer service to meal deliveries. No problems at all.

I usually don't take time to give feedback but with them, I'm glad to because they deserve it.

To anyone else reading, every you're considering Gourmet For Life, go for it, they're awesome.
