I am a past student of the previous bankrupt company, B2G Institute, and currently a new student with The Government Commerce Group/ The GovCom Group. Based on the materials and direction received, I can safely say that the tools, resources, and knowledge attained has been extremely helpful in our endeavors to navigate the complex process of bidding and being awarded government contracts.

It is unfortunate that the ownership of B2G Institute had to file for bankruptcy, as did many viable companies during this recession, but it is not right to blame the people who have dedicated their careers to helping others for an event that had nothing to do with them and that was not in their control.

That said, I find it very distasteful that disgruntled individuals, who for various reasons were not successful with the education and resources received during the seminars, would use a highly visible forum like The Ripoff Report, to pass judgement on, and create a vendetta for, a new company, with no association with B2G. In most states in the U.S., this behavior would be considered slander, and those individuals should be held accountable for such biased unilateral activity. At what point do people take responsibility for their actions or inactions, rather then blaming someone else for their failures?

Everything that I've seen or heard, so far, in the materials and presentations by the employees of The Government Commerce Group, has been top notch and worth every cent paid. That said, it's still up to me to implement the strategies and tactics learned in order to succeed. Shame on me, if I don't DO what they have taught me! And I certainly won't blame the management of GovCom Group when things are not handed to me on a  "silver platter". And I definately would not take out my frustrations by using The Ripoff Report to slander anyone as revenge for my own shortcomings.

And no, I do not work for The GovCom Group. I'm just pissed that those who failed can hurt a brand new company so badly, without any ramifications. This report is an attempt to give some voice to the other side. I encourage others to speak out on behalf of the management of The Government Commerce Group and to counterbalance the crap being spewed by the very small percentage of failures.
