Free Government Grant Money to be used any way you want except criminal activity.  Karen Jones @ 202 470-1385 identified herself as an employee of the US Government.  She stated that I was randomly selected to receive $8,400 in grant money which would be deposited within 30 minutes after I made a $205.00 charity donation to be used by the government for 3rd world countries. She insisted that the donation must be sent via Western Union only.  When I attempted to question where this donation would be wired, she became very irritated and said "don't ever call me again" and hung up abruptly. This is a scam!  She works with a partner Richard Williams who initiated the call from 202 666-7770. I tried to call Richard back at this number however, I could not get a connection.

I just got a Facebook PM from a friend that I do not usually hear from like that. He had already been one of my FB friends but for some reason he sent me another friend request just prior to receiving his PM. He starts telling me he received $100,000 recently and saw MY name on "the list" and wanted to know if I got my money yet. Obviously I had not and have not applied for any "grants". He then sends me a link to this E Andrew Williams (eandrew.williams.5) and that I should friend him then message him that I want to claim my grant. I asked about the "catch" and was told I had to send $210 via UPS first. I asked repeatedly bout the name of the organization and how they got my name. I was only told "Grant" and to click the link. Funny thing was, the person seemingly PM'g me did not have the guy on HIS friends list...so how did HE contact the guy? I did click on the link to the guys FB page...only @ 14 friends listed and none of them are anyone I know. Also, it says he works for a company called "Grant Money" located in Washington DC, but he is listed as living in Evansville, IN. No personal photos or no posts showing at all. Seemed flakey to me. I reported it to FB.

THis so called "Richard Williams" is now making the rounds on Facebook claiming you have won money from the government but you have to pay money upfront in order to have it delivered.  SCAM.  I reported him to FB and his account has been removed but I'm sure he will pop up again using a different name.  SCUM.
