Government Grant Information - Grant Department - Grant International ripoff Champlain New York
Company called my cell phone and said that I was guaranteed at least $5,000.00 in government grant money that was from overpaid taxes. They stated that I had been selected as result of filing my taxes on line.
In order to prove that I was who I claimed to be, they requested my checking account #. After receiving the number they transferred the call to a recording that went on to say that a processing fee of $300.00 would be deducted from my account in 30 days.
I have since tried to contact the company with no results. First there is a recording that says they changed their number. When the other number is contacted, it is a different company. I tried searching for the company with no success. I ran across some other scams that were being hosted from this address.
