Complaint Review: Government Grant Information Guide

I received a phone call from an unidentifiable number and the caller stated that her name is Judith Jones. Ah yes... another person claiming to have the Jones last name! And of course, she sounded like she was from the middle east. That should be the first red flag that they should have recognized. The American people are not that dumb to believe a middle eastern person to have such a caucasion last name!

She stated that I had qualified for an $8000-$25,000 grant, which I did not have to pay back. She told me where I resided at and asked me if I banked with a particular bank. She even gave me the P.O. Box address to this allege legitimate organization. Then she proceeded to ask for my bank account number and was quite pushy about it. I told her I needed to see actual literature on this before I give out my account information over the phone. I asked her to fax me the information, and she insisted that I will receive the documents in the mail 2-3 days. Then I asked for her phone number so I could check out this company before I made my decision. Needless to say, she immediately hung up on me. Scammers! Get a real job!
