Complaint Review: Government Grant Information Guide

I received a call this afternoon from a man named Lenin Smith (with a very bad accent) who told me I had been "selected" to receive a government grant between $8,000 - $25,000 and said I was Guaranteed to receive at least the $8,000. He already had my name, address and phone number, and he gave me his "contact information". By the end of our conversation, he was asking me to confirm my bank account numbers and routing numbers...and when I asked him why he needed this information, since he was sending me a package (and stated I would receive the check or draft in the mail) he only stated he was "binding this application specifically for me" and kept reading from his script of bland answers...I told him there was no way I was giving him my bank account numbers and then he suddenly hung up! What a shocker! Why has nobody stopped this guy yet? I would imagine it would be easy to have the St. Petersburg, Florida police (or the FBI) sit at his post office box and wait for him to retrieve his mail!! Somebody do something about this NOW!!
