I received a call today from the "Government grant processing Center". The caller identified herself as a "Martina Lopez" Representative ID#0560. She proceeded to inform me of an $8,000.00 grant that I had qualified for, based upon my payment of taxes and my credit report. I assumed that this was legit.

She informed me that the government awards these types of grants all of the time to a random select of people. She stated that once I had filled out the forms that were to be sent to me I would receive my grant within four months. I continued to inquire. I asked questions like "Why me?" and "What for?", and hoped that this was my next blessing from God, but I waited for the catch.

She then proceeded to BADGER me about giving her my checking account number, so that I could pay the $249.00 processing fee, in order to get my paperwork sent out. I became skeptical. Why did she need an electronic check so bad? and Why couldn't they send me the paperwork first? I then asked her to give me her extension or a telephone number where I could reach her and she said that once I gave her the check information she would send me to the verification department where I would get the information I needed. I told her that I would need some time to consider. She continued to ask me reasons why I couldn't and even went so far as to begin asking me questions about my bank as if I had said yes.

This woman knew my address and telephone number. It kinds of makes me a little bit afraid. How did she get this information on me?

She was so persistent to getting my information that I knew that something was up. What sort of government company would allow there employees to badger people. (excluding the FBI/CIA.....well nevermind...you get the point.)
I felt silly at first for passing it up, but after going on the internet and reading Kristy's report about this fraudulent company I did not feel so stupid. (Sorry Kristy) Thank you www.ripoffreport.com for allowing my story to be read.
