I have read many of the rip off articles regarding Government Liquidation. I too have had problems with false and misleading descriptions on their web
Site and whenever an error is made its MY fault - no matter what. Government Liquidation is the selling agent for the u.S. Government's surplus.

I keep getting the same BS about I agreed to the rules. Well how about new rules they institute without notification to their customers or without change in their terms and conditionson their web site? For example I just purchased over $40,000 worth of trucks which they have now decided that even though it is an EUC sale, payment must be made within 5 days. Not knowing of the change, since it was not posted, I bid on this sale and they billed my credit card. While they are busy billing my credit card, they are
Not processing my EUC. I am being forced to pay for items I may not pick up and it could be months before I am allowed to pick up. Are they giving me interest on my money? NO

GL has overcharged me on an invoice. I immediately notified them. They said they would credit my card within 15 business days. 20 business days,
And 29 days later, no credit on my card.

I was shorted on a sale and my trucker refused to sign for what they said. After discussion with facility handling sale, we agreed to let trucker go and
We would check lots on arrival. One lot was substituted and one lot was definitely 1/3 short. Guess what!! - I left with the merchandise so once again
Its my fault. Claim Denied!

Same facility - sent trucker to pick up 4 pallets. Came home with two. Trucker went back (and I got charged again) to get other two pallets, came home with one. When the infamous 15 business days came and went and I got no response regarding my claim, I refused to pay my total credit card bill. I did not pay for the two sales involved since they insisted my claim be Divided into two separate actions.

NOW they finally sat up and listened. However, they refused to let me bid on any more auctions. In addition they have banned me and all my relatives from opening another account.

After much labor expended and time passed - SOME- of the above was settled. I was finally compensated for the lot they couldn't find and they were forced to pay the extra shipping for my trucker. I have been reinstated and although my son and myself operate under separate entities, we can not have separate accounts with GL because our names and addresses are similar.

This report is lengthy but so is the dealings OR I should say mis-dealings with Government Liquidation. I reported them to U.S. Government in Battle Creek and yet they have not been sanctioned. At this point I am forwarding a copy of this report to the Better Business Bureau and the Arizona Attorney General. I may just stop payment on my credit card too and let the chips fall where they may.

Anybody else having problems with Government Liquidation, file your own Report here for the world to see. Send a letter of complaint to : DRMO National Sales office, 74 Washington Avenue N STE6 Battle Creek, Michigan 49037. File complaint with Arizona Better Business Bureau for Maricopa County. I suppose since they operate on internet we can file a claim for internet fraud.

IF WE OPERATED OUR BUSINESS THIS WAY, WE WOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Goverment Liquidations will only give you Headaches!

I to have had many bad experiences with Government Liquidations.
Being a member for many years , at first they were not to bad to deal with.
But now they have became so big that the consumer does not matter to them. Most of the GL site's are staffed with very pleasant people and I enjoy working with them all, except one ice queen that's at a regular site I deal with.

Our problems have been with the main office. They take days to respond to emails, if your lucky to get a response. When you call with questions they are not helpful. No one seems to know what is going on and to make things worse they act like they just don't care about your needs and that your questions are really putting them out. This is not just a one time event.
We have called over 4 times to ask questions and have been treated the same way every time,

I won bid that required a EUC, I sent it to them 2 hrs after the awarding of the bid. We faxed a copy as well as emailed it to them. 7 days later I called to see why our status had not changed and they said we had not submitted one yet.

So we sent it in again, It took them over 21 days just to review it before it was forwarded to Battle creek.  It has now been over 42 days since they took our payment and I still have nothing to show for it. Still waiting for a paid in full invoice and a approved EUC.

I think they put their favorites customers on the top of the list and the little guys keep getting put on the bottom of the stack. Or their  EUC Department has only one person doing it all. I think the Peruvian Post office is faster than Government Liquidations.

Government Liquidation is somewhat of a embarrassment to the American people..

I think the U.S. Government should think real hard about awarding them the contracts next time.

But I know its all about the money and such.
And I am sure Government Liquidations works hard to keep the right people happy and forget about the rest of us. The little folks that made them what they are today.

My advise, don't buy anything from them. Search for other means of getting the things you need and want. We get most of our needs met by attending other live auctions.

You will avoid a lot of headaches if you do.
My company is done with them for good.

my experieince is so similar I am a much smalller buyer but they handled me the same way any disputes are your fault even when they have made obvious errors
the bidding is also suspect you really have to go back and look at the winning bids
you may be out bid by one dollar even though the bidding increments are 20.00 dollars.
they don't respond to you in a timely mannner and will suspend your account for little or no cause.

they should not be allowed to operate as an agent for the federal govenment.
