Complaint Review: Governmentauction.com

I purchased 15 pieces at auction from this company with appraisals from gemlabamerica.com appraisals.  The pieces were rubies and sapphire rings and loose stones of the same.  Some of the items had appraisals over 25K.  Thankfully I took them to an independent appraiser and found out that the items were fake.  The rings had appraisals of 22K and the appraiser looked at me and said that they were worthless essentially.  They were representing man made items as genuine stones.  Be aware that the items up for auction in regards to rubies and sapphires are likely man made.  Also that the appraisals are grossely inflated and items are likely with a few hundred dollars with an appraisal over 20K.
