Governmentcareersinc.com Was actively looking for government job opportunities and phoned above company. Ripped me off taking $110+$9 for some materials they sent to me, the person on the phone said will charge $19 ONLY. My b Tucson, Arizona
Sometime month ago I found a contact number of company online that places government jobs. A person named Gary Garrett(may misspelled) was very friendly and said, his company can send a material for $19 and someone , a mentor, will contact me immediately after I receive materials, and she/he will instruct me on how to study and take exam to land a job.
He asked my cc number, I hesitated first, but I was fooled by his friendly attitude and gave out my cc number. I asked twice if they are going to charge ONLY $19 dollars and even repeated and asked : " Is it ONE NINE dollars?" Referring him it's not "nine zero" dollars. He confirmed me it is ONE NINE dollars. Believe me, I will be aware if he said $119 and I would never have bought from him this material.
Next day I noticed they charged me $119 and I called my bank, canceled my card. I called many times to settle this down. They either transfer me to customer service and that goes to message or never pick up the phone. I left messages and no one returned my call. I want to return this material ASAP and get my money back. I didn't authorize governmentcareersinc.com to take $119 off of my account, it was agreed only $19 with Gary Garret.
Therefore, I am disappointed and frustrated and had to cancel my credit card for future scams like this. Please, help me with this case. Especially now, when I am unemployed and vulnerable, it deeply hurts my feelings and shakes abruptly my financial situation.
