If you are not from Brazil, this school is not for you. If you are from Brazil, and don’t wanna learn BJJ, but want to be a BJJ black belt in less than five years and know nothing about it, this is your school.

I started training here in March this year being purple belt with four stripes from a different school. I’m a world master champion, Florida state champion, IBJJF champion multiple time, American National Champion, Pan American Champion, International Champion, Gi and Nogi. I started training BJJ in 2017. I’m not saying I’m the best, but I’m not a rookie either. When I started training here by March this year, there was only one young girl from Brazil purple belt with no stripe. She helps Gus (the owner) with the kids class. She never trained with me, nor with males, and barely trained with females during the first two months I was training here (march and April). By May she had two stripes, and by June she was brown belt. It means that in four months she earned the brown belt, according to Gus. Same with the young guy who helps Gus with the kids class. He barely train, he has no technique at all. When I started in March this year he was white belt no stripe, in four months he got the blue belt just because he is helping Gus (the owner) with the kids class.

A bunch of good guys (white belts) very technical not getting the blue belts just because they are not from Brasil or not helping gus with the kids class. There is a guy from Brasil very young but no technical at all, who got his belt promoted in June, and a month after (July) he got the first stripe, who barely train! Why, cuz he’s from Brazil and there are certain personal interests here. Last month I spoke in person to Gus, in regards getting my brown belt before leaving the school since I’ve been training for almost five consecutive months and it was time for me to be promoted, but in case he (Gus) thinks im not ready yet to be promoted even though I’ve been training for almost five consecutive months (in this school after training for over a year in a different school) wanted to have some private class one on one in order to have advanced knowledge to be promoted before leaving the school since I have to leave the country and won’t be able to come back during the next three years. After ignoring me, and with an ego higher then heaven, Gus said he will think about it and let me know. Last week, he told me in my face, you have been training here only for four moths, you know you are not ready to be brown belt. Really? I’m not ready because I’m not helping you for free with the kids class, right? No wonder why almost half of the school are gone, especially women. When I started here, in March the women class was huge. Today there are only three of them out of around 15, maybe more.

Ask yourself why?

If you wanna be promoted here, you must attend to the kids class for free, to help Gus with the kids class, otherwise don’t even waste your time coming here. There is a feeling of racism here if you’re not from Brazil. Keep it in mind. If you wanna try this school, I invite you to come and you will see soon or later if I’m right or wrong. Good luck! And before being part of the WhatsApp group ask Gus to tell you in advance what to write and what not, so that you can express yourself according to his personal interest, not yours. He’s a kind of dictator! Has no history in IBJJF, not in real life either, and wanna teach you how to be a winner, or an educated person, when he has no good manners, not even the best personality to teach or to walk by example. In addition to being a business owner, I have a DBA in International Business, a MBA in Finance and Banking, a MSc in Business Analytics, and a BA in Economics, how can be possible that through a bjj program or classes you think you can come to me to tell me what to do in life and what not to do, even though I’m 6 years older than you and more successful and educated. You’re ego Gus, is your failure. You might be able to teach BJJ, and to implement your rules, but you’re nothing to teach me how to succeed in life.
