Taylor and his "#1 guy" showed up with a U-Haul that was visibly too small to get everything out of our house.  I walked him through the house, patio, garage and told them that everything was leaving this house.  I told them to take everything except for the artwork and electronics.

They had no tools--I had to borrow them from my neighbors--to dismantle furniture.  They had no furniture dolly with a strap.  They used OUR bedding as padding--there are black marks on our expensive sheets to prove it.

After 5 hours, our movers had loaded the too-small truck completely, and also loaded my pick-up truck to the brim.  It was packed full everywhere but the driver's seat. Not with the electronics and artwork I had planned to load into my truck.  They left behind lamps, rugs, furniture, garage shelving, an entire patio furniture set (4 chairs, a table, and a bench), large children's toys, a closet full of clothes, etc.

When they unloaded, they scratched the hardwood floors at our new house.  They finally finished their shotty job after 10 HOURS.

Taylor said I owed him $1100 for their work.  I complained, and he waived the 10% gratuity he had allotted himself.  HE IS THE OWNER.  He just took us for $1000 and expected us to TIP him?  He is not a $15/hour employee.  He was already pocketing most of the money.

My wife had to take a day off work, and she and my dad loaded his pickup truck and her car 3 TIMES EACH with the items they left behind.  The drive between our old and new house is 40 minutes each way.  There is still stuff at our house.
