Graeme Cohen Scam me out of 179.99 for PC Revital 5 Canoga Park, California
GRAEME COHEN 323-864-2089 CA This person that called me stated that he was a Microsoft Tech and he could fix my computer, he was using Microsofts name to running a scam business.. I was scammed out of 179.99 for someone to take over my computer controls over the phone and told me it would cost me 179.99 that he had to get the virus out. So he downloaded Revital5 and told me that it would take him a few minutes. I sat at my computer while this man was in another city or country taking over my computer. He was opening up stuff on my computer and running stuff on my computer and still did not fix a d**n thing. I had to go out of town with my husbands job for 6 months in NC and was not home to even try to contact this person. But when I finally got to come back home from staying at the Extended Stay for 6 months while my husband worked. I tryed to sign on to the website that this man told me to if I had any problems. LogMeIn123.com what a Joke. That did not work then I tryed the phone number that he gave me and that did not work either but when I went on line to my Wells Fargo Bank account there it was GRAEME COHEN 323-864-2089 CA right beside where he charged me 179.99 on my online Bank statement.. nothing was fixed and if anything he has really messed my computer up. Had to take it to a Computer Store and they fixed everything for NOTHING. He had took out some of my Windows Vista software and nothing would open but errors. This guy told me I had been took and to get my money back.
I called this man and he stated that he would have someone call me between 8am-9am on Nov 20, 2012 Well no one ever called and still no one has called. I called Wells Fargo and did a Fraud report and then I did contacted the Federal Trades Commissioner and then the BBB and the Attorney General and then finally I'm going to the police dept and make a report with my city and state to send to him. He will have to fly to NC for his court date for Fraud on the internet. I have found also more about this man Look at some of this stuff.

Reading all of this and knowing Graeme from his assistance on an international web project, it's disheartening to know that every time he gets googled, this is what pops up.
There's nothing like a angry consumer with internet access to make your life miserable, coupled with the inevitable "the next guys I took it to said I got ripped off".
Then, after using the computer for 6+ months (obviously not broken), i just have to ask... did you know that most game torrents carry viruses and brower add-ons?
And if there are files missing, I would bet you were in there deleting them thinking you were "getting rid of the virus".
why wouldn't you just run your anti-virus software?
I've watched many folks just like you thinking they know enough to start "fixing" their computers then end up breaking it.
ma'am I hope you are never on the opposite side of what you tried to accomplish which is ruin someone's reputation.
And you got your funds returned, and the rest if us are stuck reading a permanent smear of a man who didn't deserve it!

You are a Very True and trustworthy person to deal with. I am very pleased that this HAS BEEN SETTLED.. I hope they take all of this stuff down. Thank you, Mr. Cohen, I do respect your kind words. I know that I talked with you about this matter on your phone Nov. 19 2012 and was told that someone would call me on Nov 20, 2012 between 8am to 9am No one ever called so I did have to take my Big New HP computer to the Computer Shop down the street.This guy named ( Buddy)that sold me this is not good in English. Call me when you want @ 336-769-7633 I think some of your help is trying to do scams on your business. I do think that this can be worked out because I think You care. Thank You Donna Mayton and may god bless you I am a baptist and believe in God. And more people should be honest. Thank You for you reply. I was very upset about my new computer that I use when I am at home and not on the road with my husband that is a pipefitter/Welder. I pay all my bills online and use this computer. I hate my little old Dell 610D laptop computer but this is all I had when we stayed 6 months in Durham NC so my husband could redo the pipes in the hospital there. I left you a message on your phone this morning with my name DONNA MAYTON and my address and you stated that you would refund my money. I am 56 years old and have never been ripped off before but this man did not fix my computer he did delete some of the Files that runs my Windows Vista Professional and that is why when I tryed to open a page all I would get is ERRORS. The Computer Store down the road was so kind to fix my computer and he did not charge a dime for his service. He used my software that I already had installed to see if I had even had a virus that the man said I did and it stated NO VIRUS in the vault. I bought and paid for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro and I have the CD also. I bought this when I bought my computer also I have been running for day one when I got my new computer 9 months ago Microsoft Security Essentials that has Real Time Protection and Virus and Spyware. I have never had a virus or anything else on this New HP desktop computer Nor my old Dell laptop because I do keep them protected. All I told this man that said that he was a Microsoft Tech is when I play
WildTangent Games that I was getting a error on there site. After he so called worked on my computer I could not even get online due to errors popping up everywhere's. Please mail me a check for the 179.99 that was for a 1 year Microsoft Tech support and I promise to retrack all of the bad stuff that I have reported. I don't think you are the one that did this to my computer because this man could hardly speak english. But he did mess it up to the point that I had to take it into the Computer Store to have it fixed. The only reason that I have reported this about you is because on my online Wells Fargo it showed that you accepted the check and it had you full name and your phone number.
