Complaint Review: Grand Canyon University

 I attended GCU in 2010 and graduated in 2015 with a BS in Educational Studies and with honors. I had several issues with the the school holding my stipend for many weeks before releasing and I had to change my program at the end due to not being able to complete student teaching. My daughter has Down Syndrome and I had here after I was in the program for 2 years but they would not give any accommodations for my special circumstances with the 24 hour care and therapy appointments. I was charged full price for books that were only EBooks and my added classes for the course added to my financial aid debt. They were constantly changing staff and one academic counselor would say one thing and another would change it. I gave thousands owed in student debt and can't get a job and I think it is because of the GCU name. I worked so hard for my "A" average which was not easy and I can't get a job.
