Grand Canyon University has many complaints on this site and I see they are living up to their reputation as being a scam! After reading many posts on here I withdrew from my classes at GCU and from the University all Together. This was Dec. 22nd. It is now Feb. 23rd and I have not received an official withdrawal confirmation after months of asking for one. I even had charges on my account on Feb 14th for further classes.

I also have not received my student loan money or grand total or or anything reguarding my finances even though they have a 14 day policy in their handbook. Also, their catalogue states that I will receive 75% refund if I drop out of class durring the first week. I will be charged for 100% of the class in the second week. I never went to the second week of class! I withdrew on Dec. 22nd after the first week of class. The second week of class was not supposed to start up until after the christmas break.

I never logged in to the class after the first week but they are still making me pay for it. This is about 2000.00!!! Stay away from GCU unless you want a financial nightmare! Also, when I enrolled they promised that I would only need the two prereqs from the school to enter the education deparment ... after I enrolled they came up with two additional classes that I would need. They lie, hold on to your financial aid and charge you for services not rendered! I will be taking this up to the chain of management. Wish me luck!! I need my 75% refund GCU!!!
