Grand Crowne Resorts - Springfield TeleMarketing - Grand Crowne Resorts Pigeon Forge - Grand Crowne Vacation Club Grand Crowne lies and is a fraud! Branson, Missouri
I was offered a vacation package of 2 nights at a 3or 4 star hotel in Gattlinburg, $300 gas card, and $50 entertainment for $169.55 and attendance at a 3 hours sales presentation. The big selling point was $300 in gas - said to be good at any gas retailer for use of the next year. The hotel was an old, run down 2 star (per night off the street rate was $39.95. After attending the 3 hour sales presentation and deciding not to buy the heavily pushed vacation club package, I was given a brochure for a gas rebate program that I could enroll in for $15.95. I told the employee this was not what I was promised. I was told there was nothing they could do - I had to call the Grand Crowne fulfillment company. When I got back home from vacation I went online to learn more about the gas rebate program called Incentive International. The fine print, details, and restrictions for the program were very long and cumbersome. It started with a requirement to pay $15.95 to enroll in the program that amongst other things required me to select one gas retailer to use, and mail $100 in gas receipts each month to get a $25 gift card back. This smelled like a scam. After repeated attempts to phone and email this gas rebate company with no response, I called Grand Crowne fulfillment center in Branson. They confirmed what I suspected, the gas rebate company was out of business. Grand Crowne refused to refund any part of my purchase price of $169.55 - they only offered to allow me to enroll in another gas scam program. STAY AWAY FROM GRAND CROWNE!!! I SURE AM GLAD THAT I DIDN'T INVEST THOUSANDS IN THEIR VACATION CLUB - I FULLY EXPECT IT IS ALSO A SCAM!
