I went onto this website and agreed to pay the $1.95 and $1.00 fee for processing, shipping and handling. I double checked the site to make sure there were no additional fees and received a receipt for the $2.95 to my email account.
About a week later I noticed a charge for $39.95. I haven't even received my free CD and they were making additional, and unauthorized, charges to my account.
I had not been told about a 7 day trial membership or any additional fees. I called to ask them what was going on and they told me that after the 7 day membership you are automatically enrolled into their program and charged the $39.95.
I explained that I did not find anything about that on the site and that I haven;t even received my free CD. Why would I willing enter your program and spend additional money on a program I haven't even tried yet?
I asked for a refund for the $39.95 they were not authorized to charge since I have received nothing from them and haven't benefited in the slightest but they told me they don't issues refunds.
The woman was rude and continued to interrupt me during my explanation and questions (I have the feeling she has this discussion with many individuals on a regular basis), and when I asked to speak to her superior I was told that he wouldn't tell me any differently and there was nothing they could do. I told them to cancel my subscription and don't bother sending me anything, they're likely to charge me more for what I already unwillingly had to pay for.
Do NOT subscribe with this company. You WILL regret it.

Nell_angel_13. There are no commitments with the free product. The Grant Master CD based Grant Program is designed to help customers Locate Grants, Find Grant Applications, Write Grant Proposals, and assist them with anything else that may be needed in the process of obtaining grant funding. The CD offers the ability to search for grants by keyword(s), in up to 5 simultaneous categories. This program is supplemented by a member's site, this site offers access to live chat support for assistance with any part of the application and proposal process or questions pertaining to the CD or the member's site. It also provides access to one of the largest grant data bases you can find anywhere. Here you can find both government and private foundation grants. It offers information from Dr. John Porter who is a licensed and certified grant writer. The information that is offered through our members website is more extensive than what other companies sell in coaching programs that cost thousands of dollars. So we feel that we are offering our clients the best value in the industry. There are no commitments with the free product. However, there is a bonus free trial period to membership websites that accompanies the free CD and we do our best to disclose this as it is stated 4 times throughout the ordering process - on the sales page, the order page, the confirmation page and in the confirmation/thank you email, it is then also explained in the 1st paragraph of the Terms and Conditions of the offer. We offer the trial periods to give our clients a chance to use the services and see the value of them for themselves before they are billed for them. The trial periods are free for 7-30 days from the order date depending on which bonuses apply. We do not charge customers that call customer service and cancel during the trial period. It is not our desire to bill clients who do not want the membership after the free trial offer.
When you order our product you must select "Ship My FREE Kit!". On the same page either directly above or below this button is the following statement in no less than 10 point font:

Nell_angel_13, I was able to locate your account and have attempted to verify the statements made in your complaint. I have reviewed the recording of the conversation you had with our representative, she was polite and courteous with you. She never once interrupted you and you never asked to speak with a superior. She explained the program and offered to cancel the service for you, you agreed, she processed the cancellation - you did not ask for a refund and she did not tell you that we don't issue refunds.
Nell_angel_13, we've attempted to contact you to discuss your concerns, but have not heard back from you.
