Grant Search Assistant called after I had search the internet on grants for small business loans called selling me a trial cd with information.havn't received the cd yet but have a pending charge to my account. Cleveland Internet
I purchased a information CD for initially $3.95 shipping and would be charged $29.95 after the 14 day trial offer ended. I purchased on 7/14/06 and havn't received any materials. My account has a pending charge for the $29.95 which is to be electronically withdrawn from my account on 7/31/06.
I called the number listed, the first time was unable to speak to anyone clearly. I later called and spoke to someone named Noel? who said that I would be receiving a credit for the amount in 5-10 business days and gave me a confirmation # NM636697. He said he would cancel my order and I wouldn't be billed further and said
they apologized for the inconvenience.
He did mention that the CD should still come in the mail and that I should call back when I receive it. I'm only worried that if I wait for the amount to be credited to my account (instead of cancelling) my card that future charges could be charged to my account. Do you think I should wait the 5-10 days to the amount to be credited back to my account?
